Welcome to University Heights Elementary School!

At University Heights Elementary School, we work together every day to make our school a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best.

I am excited to welcome our students, families, and staff to the 2026-2027 school year! Our theme this year is “All Aboard for Learning,” which represents our commitment to moving forward together as a school community and making sure every student feels supported and ready to learn.

One of our main goals this year is writing across the curriculum. We will be focusing on giving students more opportunities to write throughout the school day, build their writing stamina, and become more confident in expressing their ideas and explaining their thinking.

We will also continue our focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). These initiatives help us support students academically, socially, and emotionally while making sure they have what they need to be successful.

University Heights is a special place because of our students, staff, and families. I truly believe that strong relationships and open communication between school and home make a difference for our students, and I look forward to continuing to build those partnerships this year.

I am looking forward to a great 2026-2027 school year and all that we will accomplish together. My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas, feedback, and partnership throughout the year.
